The first thing that comes to mind is an amusing story from class at orientation today. We were talking about holidays, and my teacher told us that many children born on Christmas (Natale in Italian) are named Natale or Natalina, kids born on Easter, Pasquale or Pasqualina. Kids born on Sunday, Domenico or Domenica. Kids born on August 1, Agosto or Agostina, maybe. (All of these correspond in the same way as Natale.) With each one, we laughed more and more... luckily I don't think she took it the wrong way. Ohhh Italians.
I had others, but they are not coming to mind right now - other stories and thoughts. I am pretty tired tonight so I'm going to try to go to bed on the earlier side. I am thinking of going to the library tomorrow and might be able to blog there in the morning.
Love you all!
